About DESERT GARDEN:

"Desert Garden," an upcycled art installation by Lauren Altman made in collaboration with Coca-Cola for Coachella 2024, transformed recycled Coca-Cola and Smartwater products into a vibrant oasis, complemented by pieces from her sustainable fashion collection, Lauren Altman Studio.

Inspired by the enchanting landscape of the Coachella Valley, this immersive experience showcased iconic desert motifs, including Saguaro cactus, desert sunflowers, red poppy, sage, and more.

Visitors were invited to engage with the installation by picking a flower from the garden and posing for a photo with a one-of-a-kind cowboy hat crafted entirely from repurposed Coca-Cola t-shirts by the artist.

In creating this piece, especially for Sonic Desert at Coachella, Altman shared her mission to raise awareness of the myriad of ways daily objects and materials can become works of art that improve the environment while adding a spicy touch of color to our world.
