REWOVEN LANDSCAPES: MIXED MEDIA PAINTINGS

This body of work explores transformation through material and gesture. Layers of paint, madder root and indigo, thread, sequins, embroidered textiles, wool, upcycled fabric and clothing, handmade compost paper are stitched and composed into tactile terrains—abstract depictions of memory, motion, and process.

Presented as part of the installation from the Lauren Altman Studio Resort 2024 fashion show, each piece reimagines discarded or reclaimed materials as a site of renewal.
